Choosing an advisor
Does paying a consultant guarantee independent advice?
No. Ask what payments the provider receives, how it chooses programmes and how conflicts are handled. A client fee can support useful analysis without proving that every incentive is aligned. Evaluate whether recommendations include defensible alternatives and whether the provider can explain what evidence would change its view.
